GCBC’s mission is to provide students, facing barriers in education and who often feel unseen and unheard, access to educational resources and guidance for personal growth and development. Our programming includes one-on-one sessions, tailored to meet specific needs, and enrichment workshops tailored for specific age group or school sites . We strive to create an environment where every student feels valued, respected, and supported on their learning journey.
We imagine a world where education disparities and barriers are nonexistent, every student is acknowledged and valued, and all students have access to resources that ensures they thrive and excel. If GCBC is successful, students will be prepared to pursue their own path and equipped with the skills and confidence to make significant impact in their communities.
"I founded GCBC after spending several years in numerous classrooms, where I observed bright students underperform and lack preparation for the rigors of higher learning. I realized that in order to empower students to take agency of their learning, I needed to pave a path, in education, that aligns with my purpose. " - Ms. Cam
Michelle Cammon is a UCLA graduate, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. However, her post-graduate experience has been spent in education. Ms. Cammon believes that preparation is necessary for success and is passionate about eliminating disparities in education. Most importantly, Ms. Cammon knows how to coach students to level up.
